Obituary of Sheri Amber Ross
It is with sadness that we announce that Sheri has lost her battle with cancer, after many years of fighting, at the age of 55. She passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the Infirmary Site, QEII Hospital, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of James McLean and the late Grace “Peggy” (Morton).
Sheri loved her husband and children. She lived an energetic life. Her cheerful, optimistic personality was an encouraging and positive presence for everyone she met. She would never hesitate to lend a hand and cared about supporting others as best as she could. She loved her pets, going to the beach, and spending time in the Annapolis Valley. She will always be remembered for her bubbly personality.
Besides her father, Sheri leaves behind her husband of almost 36 years, Douglas; son, Jack; daughter, Gwen; brothers, Michael (Monica) and Jeffery (Keltie) McLean; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation or service by request. Donations in memory of Sheri may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society – Nova Scotia Division (902) 423-6183 or Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Scotia Chapter (902) 425-2462.
