Annie’s Obituary
Annie Malkinson (Rybak) passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021 at the age of 83. Born September 17, 1937 in Worsley, Alberta she moved to Fairview following the completion of high school. It was there she met and married her husband, Lynn Malkinson. She worked for the Royal Bank of Canada until she transitioned to working at home raising their four children.
As an active member of the community, Annie was a long standing member of the Order of Royal Purple, a service organization for many years in Fairview. She volunteered at St. Paul’s United Church and for the Girl Guides of Canada. When she wasn’t working outside in her garden and yard, Annie was adept at many crafts including flower arranging, knitting and needlepoint. She was also an excellent cook and baker who rarely needed to follow a recipe.
Annie is predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Frederick Lynn Malkinson. She is survived by her four children Brian, Elaine (Chris), Susan (Chris), Bruce (Heather), four grandchildren: Nick, Juliana, Sam, Grace, and her sister Mary Adams.
