Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Innisfree House in Kitchener, at the age of 82. Loving mother of Cindy (Pat) Polillo, Darcy Wendling and Kim Pawelko. Grandmother of Krystal and Kasey. Dear sister of Carla Fries (Ross), Bill (Margo). Predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Doug (2003), and siblings, Charlie Schmidt and Joan Schickler (Jack).
Sandy’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 24, 2021 followed by interment at Bridgeport Cemetery, Kitchener. Relatives and friends must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling, 519-749-8467, to attend her visitation and service.
