It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Robert Berti on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Innisfree House at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Emily for 62 years.
Loving father of Diana and Brian Verbuyst, and Robert and Allison Berti.
Cherished grandfather of Mitch (Christine), Brent (Darcy), James and John.
Brian’s daughter Brandie and her husband Jason Geerts became special grandchildren to Bob, and Papa Bob to their children Ethan and Brody.
Will be remembered by his nieces Amy and Jane and nephew Jim, and their families.
Predeceased by his sister Sylvia Dressler and Jason Geerts.
Bob retired from Union Gas after a 25 year career. He was a semi-pro football player and skilled baseball and basketball player. Bob was an enthusiastic hockey and baseball coach, an avid golfer and past member of KW Kinsmen Club.
Due to current restrictions, a private service will be held at St. George’s of Forest Hill Anglican Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467. Bob’s service may be viewed via live stream at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at livestream.com/accounts/4258512
