Obituary
DORAN, Susan “Sue” Lenore- Passed away peacefully at Andy’s House Hospice in Port Carling, Ontario on Sunday, June 6, 2021, after a courageous fight with ALS. Sue was the loving mother of Jamie (Erin) Doran, and Courtney (Kirk) Doran-Self. Dear Lala Sue to Kye, and Trey Doran, Mikalia, and Logan Self, all of Bracebridge. Cherished sister of Len (Sherry) Dawson of Kawartha Lakes, and Janice (Bob) Whitmore of Caledon. Loving Aunt to Matthew, and Peter Dawson, Laurel Baskin, and Joe Whitmore. Sue will be missed by her dear friends Tracy (Chris) Mocon, and Donna (Tim) Whitmore, all of Bracebridge.
Sue had a smile that could light up any room, she was kind, compassionate and caring. She dedicated her life to her family and was happiest when cheering on her kids and grandkids at their various sporting events and activities. She was the proud owner and operator of the beautiful Bala Falls Bed and Breakfast. At the age of 50, Sue decided to return to school and become a Personal Support Worker. She had found her calling. Sue loved working with her clients in their homes and was loved by all of her colleagues at the Friends of Muskoka.
Sue will be missed dearly by all that knew & loved her.
