Evans, Kathleen Leanore “Kay” (nee Millyard)
Kay passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Riverview Garden LTC at the age of 94.
She was born on January 5, 1927 in Colchester South Township and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Leanore (nee Sutton) Millyard.
Beloved wife of the late John Evans (1991).
Loving mother of Dave and Linda Millyard, Fred Evans, Jim and Bev Evans, Brenda Brophy & Steve Lucyk, Herb Evans & Nancy Rivard and Ken and Irene Evans.
Sadly missed by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her 2 daughters, May (1949), Brenda’s twin sister & her brothers and sisters.
Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home – Chatham Celebration Centre, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham, ON (519-352-2390).
There will be a private family graveside service at Arnold Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Kay to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
