Ruth Annie Gamble
1929-2021
The death occurred on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Margaret
Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary of Ruth Annie Gamble formerly of
Alaska aged 92, wife of the late George Gamble. Ruth was born at West
Cape on February 3, 1929, daughter of the late Guy and Mabel
(Silliker) Smith.
Cherished mom to Betty Fitzgerald, Wayne (Pearl), Norman
(Sue) and Clara (Allan) Gillis. Loving grammy to 14 grandchildren,
numerous great grandchildren and 2 great great
grandchildren.
Dear sister to Ina Smith and Ricky (Sandra) Smith. Sister in
law to Norma Sentner, Rena (Marvin) Jackson, Bella Smith, Esther
Smith, Jimmy Heighton and Norman Allen.
Ruth was predeceased by her parents, husband George, son
Lloyd (Dianne), son in law Roger Fitzgerald, daughter in law Sylvia,
great granddaughter Katelyn, brothers Raymond, Stanley, Elmer Harry,
Granville, Lloyd and sister Ella.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, private visiting
hours and funeral service to be held on Saturday in the chapel.
Interment in the West Devon United Church Cemetery.
