Peacefully, at the Osgoode Care Centre, on Friday, May 21, 2021, Helen Laakso (nee Daggett), age 90, passed into the loving arms of her Saviour. Beloved wife of the late Harold Laakso and formerly of Sudbury and Chesterville. Loving mother of Kelly-Ann Hess (Jim) of Chesterville, Dayle Whittaker (Todd) of Guelph, Daniel Laakso (Teresa) of Sudbury and the late Wendy Laakso. Helen will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer, Matthew, Brennan, Shelby, Rachel, Mavrick, Cole, Kurtis, Kristin and her great-grandchildren Liam, Ethan, Lauren, Grace, Emma, Hazel and Izaiah. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Anne Daggett, her sister Rona McRobert, her brothers Richard Daggett, John Daggett, James Daggett, her infant son Harold James and her infant grandson Taylor. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements
Due to Covid restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Sudbury. Donations to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Chesterville would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
