It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Alma Rose of Marystown announces her passing at the age of 98 on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Bill of 78 years; daughters, Betty and Georgina of Marystown; son, Bill of St. John’s; sisters, Amelia Crewe of Halifax, Eva Cribb and Emily Cribb both of Marystown; special neighbors, The Dominies (Alvin, Maureen, Alyssa, and Ryan); plus other relatives and friends.
Alma was pre-deceased by her parents, Morgan and Hannah Taylor; brothers, Max Taylor, and John Taylor; sisters, Eva Taylor, and Elizabeth May; sister-in-law, Doris Taylor; and brothers-in-law, Norman Crewe, Ernest may, Ches Cribb, and Clayton Cribb.
The Rose Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston on Friday, May 21st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. As per COVID 19 regulations, only 20 people can be in the funeral home at a time and everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.
A private funeral service for family and friends will take place at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston on Saturday, May 22nd at 2pm. Those that wish to attend may contact the family.
Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery in Grand Bank.
