Phyllis S. Comeau, RN
1946 – 2021
Phyllis Stewart Comeau, RN, of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on May 17, 2021, at the age of 74.
Born in Chatham, on September 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Edith (Jardine) MacFarlane. Phyllis was a Registered Nurse and started her working career at Hotel Dieu (Chatham), and then Miramichi Senior Citizens Home. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, CWL and the Retired Nurses Association.
She is survived by her one daughter, Nicole Comeau of Miramichi; and one son, Adam Comeau (Charis Lynch) of Miramichi; four grandchildren: Justin, Jayme, Layne and Leah; one great-grandchild, Kyleigh; and one sister, Jean Magierowski (Bill) of Campbell River, BC. She was predeceased by her parents; and one son, Stewart Comeau.
A PUBLIC visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Thursday, May 20, 2021, from 2-4 PM. A PRIVATE Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. As per COVID-19 regulations, facemasks and social distancing are mandatory.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
