Fred Bertram Hawley
January 16, 1929 – May 17, 2021
Passed peacefully away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at age 92 in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his wife and soul mate Jean (nee Learning); parents John and Mary; brothers Arthur, Gerald, Robert, Errol, Cyril and Columbus; sister Ann. Leaving to celebrate his life are sons John, Derrick, Frederick (Angie), Joseph, and Dean (Carol Ann); daughters Karen Power (Dave) and Jacquie Power (Ron); sister Helen Walsh; sisters-in-law Joyce Benmore, Audrey Plaza and Margaret Learning; special friend Rita Follett; grandchildren Alysha, Stephanie (Mark), Allan, Kristie, Steven (Tanya), Natasha, Jessica (Justin), Craig, Chelsea (Jared) and Krista; great-grandchildren Abby, Morgan, Luke, Madison, Alison, Julien, and Aanya; many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. Special thanks to the staff at St. Clare’s for their dedicated care. Cremation to take place. A Funeral service to celebrate the lives of Fred and Jean, will take place on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel, LeMarchant Road. Inurnment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
