A woman of faith and the heart of her family
It is with great sadness and heartbreak the we announce that Mabel Margaret Hunt passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Monday May 17, 2021 at the age of 74 with her husband and three children by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents Enoch and Mariah and brother Wade.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Stanley; daughters: Rhonda (Melvin), Beverly (Craig), Cathy (Craig); grandchildren: Trevor, Trista, Amanda, Carly. Joshua, Brandon; great grandchildren: Faith, Jayden, Lexi; Sister Shelia (glen); brothers: Dan (Olive) of Gambo, NL., Len of Gambo, NL., Elvis (Wanda) of Gambo, NL., Morgan (Abbie) of Dover, NL., Dean (Iris) of Gander, NL., Tony (Melanie) of Gambo, NL. And also a large circle of extended relatives and friends.
Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe avenue, Gander on Wednesday May 19, 2021 between the hours of 2-4 p.m. In keeping with the ongoing global Covid-19 pandemic and government guidelines with ask for your patience during visitation times and masks are required. A private family service will be held at Stacey’s Funeral Home on Thursday May 20, 2021 with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request. Donation in Mabel’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Mabel was a devoted christian, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a caring, loving and beautiful person. She will be forever loved and forever missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.
