Jarnail Singh Haer
June 10th 1938- May 8th 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jarnail Singh Haer on May, 8th 2021 due to natural causes from old age.
He is survived by his wife Naranjan Haer and his children, Jaswinder (Baljit) Samra, Malkeet (Karmjit) Haer, Gurdial (Sukhjit) Haer, Bhupinder (Sukhjit) Johal, and Harjinder (Sharan) Haer. Grandchildren: Sukhdip, Paula, Arvinder, Aman, Preet, Jason, Jaslene, Rajan, Anisha, Simrin, Siya, Rhea and Jeevan as well as great grandchildren, Ajit and Karmen.
Jarnail was born in Litrran, Punjab in 1938 where he lived for 35 years alongside with his 7 sisters and 1 brother. He worked in the fields as a farmer and as a competitive wrestler. He immigrated to Squamish in 1970. He worked at the Squamish Mill before spending 20 years working for and retiring from BC Rail.
He willbe deeply missed by all who knew him.
