Patricia « Pat » Lane
1938-2021
It is with heavy hearts that the
family of Patricia « Pat » Lane (nee Bell) announce her
passing on Friday, April 30, 2021. Born February 14, 1938 she was the
daughter of the late Daniel (Dan) and Mary Bell.
Pat was a
faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was devoted to her family.
Those who were
not family (but felt like they were) will always remember her kindness
and how she welcomed, accepted and loved all who entered the Lane
home.
She will be
missed but not forgotten.
She leaves
behind her husband of 62 years, J. Lawrence Lane; their children: Beth
Parlee (Darren), Dan Lane (Lisa), Rob Lane (Cindy); grandchildren,
Mike Parlee (Laurie), Kate Parlee, MacKenzie, Parker, Tori, Meghan and
Brennen Lane; great- granddaughter Sandi Parlee.
Pat was the
last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she
was predeceased by her sister Beverly Vye.
A special thank
you to the staff of the Moncton Hospital 5100 unit and the staff of
Shannex, Faubourg du Mascaret, Richard Pavillon for their care and
compassion.
A celebration
of Pat’s life will be held at a later date.
Interment will
be in Cape Breton , NS.
In lieu of
flowers donations in memory of Pat may be made to the Friends of the
Moncton Hospital Foundation (friendsfoundation.ca/)
or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family
