Obituary
Yvonne Ayers, 91 a long-time resident of Kelowna, BC went peacefully to be with our Lord on August 22, 2020. Married in 1951 to Elmer Patrick Ayers who preceded her in death April, 2015.
Yvonne was never one to sit still for long. She stayed active with raising five kids and having many hobbies to include knitting, sewing, making dolls, biking, walking and devoting a vast amount of time to her church, community and her family.
She leaves behind a large caring family. Four sons: Lorne and wife Rita of Kelowna, BC, Raymond and wife Dianne Ayers of Langley, BC, Timothy Ayers of Langley, BC, Dale and wife Sandra of Langley, BC, daughter Mona Belcher and husband Terry of Arlington, Texas
Also, fondly loved as “Nana” to 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, she always made sure there was a home baked cookie in the jar when they came to visit.
Proceeded in death by her twin sister, Rose, in 2008, her mother and father, and six siblings. She is survived by her brother Ted Fai from Estevan, Saskatchewan.
A brief graveside service will be held on Friday September 4, 2020 at 2 pm.
