We wish to announce the passing of Yves (Joe) LeSann. September 5-1930 to December 16-2020. Joe passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his lifelong partner, Ellie.
Joe was born and raised on the farm on the Saskatchewan prairies and later chose pipeline construction as his career path which took him halfway across the country at one time or another. Joe also earned himself a very well respected name in the industry and mentored many people throughout his career which spanned over 50 years. Joes name is still mentioned frequently within the industry.
Upon retirement, a great amount of time was spent doing what he loved. Joe always had a passion for antiques. Road trips were a normal event for Joe and Ellie, travelling through the Western provinces in search of restoration projects which would keep him occupied for months at a time.
Joe is survived by his wife of 62 years (Ellie), 4 children (Dean, Kelvin, Christina, Denise) and was predeceased by eldest son (Rene 1991).
Due to the COVID restrictions there will be no formal funeral service at this time with a celebration of life service being planned for Summer 2021.
If you have a good story, please feel free to share.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Yves Joe John LeSann December 16th 2020..
