Obituary of William Thomas Buick
Shannon lost the love her her life, William Thomas Buick, 67 of Kentville, on January 23, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital. He fought a courageous battle with cancer.
He leaves behind his wife Shannon, who loved him more than life; a loving son Josh, whom he absolutely adored and his sister Lynn Amyotte, who he loved dearly.
Josh and I would like to extend very heartfelt thank yous to Bill’s palliative care team, especially Marcy, who was with me when he passed; the entire nursing staff on Medical “A” for all the caring and compassion they offered Bill and me. To the doctors, Todd, Merryweather, Burgess, Morgan and McClure for making hime feel cared for and helping him to be comfortable at the end of his journey. To Kimmy Keddy for always being there for me. And finally, thank you to his FaceBook family, who have sent beautiful tributes. “We don’t know what we would have done without all of you”.
Cremation has taken place. By family request, there will be no service. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
