Obituary of Weldon Chase
CHASE, PAUL « WELDON »
It is with sadness to announce the passing of Paul « Weldon » Chase, January 13, 2020 (80 years young) at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with his grandchildren and close friend by his side. Weldon was born on March 28, 1939 in Lakeville Corner, NB. Weldon was a proud, long-time resident of Marysville. For many years, Weldon was the neighborhood barber shop where everyone was welcome and invited to hear a good joke or story.
Weldon is survived by his special friend Doris Saad of Hanwell, NB, and her family, Anne and Lorne Parker of Edmonton, AB and his grandchildren Shaun and Jocelyn Parker of Fredericton, NB, Bradley Parker and wife Sandy Parker (Tang) of Edmonton, AB. His sisters, Maxine Campbell of Marysville, Joan Coats of Fredericton; brothers, twin Max Chase of Fredericton, Harold Chase of Calgary. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Perley Chase and parents Perley Robert and Olive Muriel (Dalton) Chase.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 603 Union Street, on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2pm with a reception to follow after service downstairs. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Personal condolences to the family may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
