Velma Edith Brear (Hicks) passed away peacefully at Lakeland Long Term Care, on Friday, December 11th, 2020. Age 87 years.
Beloved wife of the late Carl Brear. Loving mother of Carter and his wife Iona; Debbie and her husband Dale; Terry and his wife Elaine; Bruce and his wife Cindy; and Mary. Cherished Grandma of 9 and Great Grandma of 22. Great Great Grandma of 1. Dear sister of Marion, Jean, and the late Kenneth, Alvin, and Lloyd. Velma will be forever missed by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Resting at the Logan Funeral Home, where family will receive visitors on Monday, December 14th, 2020 from 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. (subject to Covid capacity restrictions). A private family service will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street (705-746-5855), followed by interment at Maple Island Cemetery.
