MEIER, Theresa
April 13, 1922 – October 22, 2020
Theresa passed away peacefully at St. Ann’s Home at the age of 98 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children Norman (Islay) Meier and Gerald Meier; son-in-law Ed Frank; grandchildren Sherry (Randy) Volk, Kelly Selzler, Randy Selzler, Lauren (Cory) Gillis, Kim (Rick) Day, Leah Meier, Tara (Brent) Belhumeur, Curtis Meier, Jessica Meier, Samantha (Zak) Donaldson; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Mel Sperle and Balzler (Marj) Sperle; sisters-in-law Velda Sperle and Freda Sperle; brothers-in-law Murray Foster and Bill Olynyk; as well as numerous nieces nephews and cousins. Theresa was predeceased by her husband John Meier; daughter Shirley Selzler; parents Kasper and Bertha; sisters Rose (Don) Wildeman, Valerie Foster and Vickie Olynyk; brothers Frank Sperle, Kasper Sperle, Val Sperle and Joe Sperle; and sister-in-law Katie Sperle. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 with live-streaming available at: www.faithproductions.ca/livestream with Rev. Fr. Pius Schroh as Celebrant. The Rite of Committal will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
