Obituary of Terry Schwarz
SCHWARZ: Terry Lee, 67 –
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Schwarz. He passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Thursday, January 16, 2020 with his family at his side. Terry was the son of the late Otto and Mary Schwarz. Predeceased by Heather Schwarz (2015). Loving father to Andrew Scott, Sean Scott (Rebekah), Rebecca Schwarz, Jennifer Hillman (Chris).
Grandfather to Riley, Zoe, Bentley, Emma, Hunter, Brooke and Lucas. Remembered by his siblings Marguerite Wattenburg, Bill Schwarz (Dianne), Johnny Schwarz (Gerri), Joanne Charron (Gene), Carol Stover (Larry) and Douglas Schwarz. Survived by his long-time companion Dianne Duphette and family. Terry will always be remembered by his nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins along with his many, many friends and partners in crime. Terry’s contagious laugh, smile and sense of humour will be dearly missed.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Interment to follow at Arnold Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Terry to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated. A special thank you to all the care providers and volunteers at the Chatham-Kent Hospice.
