Terrence « Terry »‘s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful man. Terry was very proud of his military career with thirty-two years of service as Master Warrant Officer in the Royal Canadian Armored Corps. After retiring from the military he enjoyed twenty-eight years in Real Estate. He was a kind, caring and compassionate man with an unbelievable zest for life. He loved downhill skiing and was a ski instructor for sixteen years. Terry loved hunting, fishing and the great outdoors in general. His most prized possession was his cottage where he spent much time with the love of his life. There, he was happy and content and loved to entertain.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by: his loving wife Wanda; his son Mark (Chan) in Harrison Hot Springs, BC; his daughter Sandra (Ron) Eccles in Victoria, BC; and his step-son Chad (Kerri) in Fort McMurray, AB. Also leaving to mourn: his two grandchildren Jessica and Julia in Lower Sackville, NS; his siblings: Greg (Marquerite), Wayne (Tammy) and Olivera Rubia all in Stephenville Crossing, Marie MacDonald (Tom Nolan) and Vivian (Louis ) White both in Stephenville, Jim (Cathy) in New Brunswick and Rick (Carolyn) in St. Georges; his sister-in-law and friend Winnie Swyers; his mother-in-law Olivera Lucas; his extended family: Elva (Bob), Lisa (Ricky), Amanda (Keith) and Marsha (Martin); his two precious cousins: Doris Swyers and Carmy (Jim) Whyte; his family by choice Martyn and Marilyn Stimpson and Kim Soulliere; his great friends: Reggie Slaunwhite, Vic Harvey and Michael Casey; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place . Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitation and funeral services will take place at a later date.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr Leonard and Dr Armstrong at Health Science Center and to Dr Habashi, staff at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital and Public Health Nurses for the care and compassion shown to Terry and his family during this difficult time.
God has received another angel
Rest in Peace precious soldier.
