SWERTZ, Velia Agnesa Maria (née Presutti)

Velia passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 79. She is survived by her sisters Franca Vera Presutti and Lidia Agnesa Presutti and her brother Vittorio Presutti; as well as brother-in-law Delio Balestra; sister-in-law Teresa Novi; nephews and nieces Giuliano Presutti, Andrea Balestra, Marzia Presutti, Robert Beerkens, and Marcel Beerkens. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Anton William Swertz and their son Rudy Victor Alphons Swertz, as well as her brother-in-law Jack Theodore Beerkens.
Due to the current pandemic, a private family service will be held to honour Velia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, www.cancer.ca or Central Okanagan Hospice Association, hospicecoha.org .
