Entered into rest peacefully, at the age of 72, at the Brockville General Hospital Garden St site on Thursday October 8, 2020. Survived by her children Rose Durnford and Matthew Durnford, grandchildren Cody Stroud, Mary Tearra Martin, and sisters Vera Munro and Joyce Ellis. Susan was predeceased by her loving husband Les Durnford, her parents Wilmer and Mary (Wetheral) Burns, sisters Barb (Burns) Lee, Betty (Burns) Todd as well as brothers Bill Burns and Calvin (Sandy) Burns. She will be missed greatly by many nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements are entrusted with Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St East Brockville.
As expression of sympathy, donations to the Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada will be greatly appreciated.
