Obituary of Snoz Winters
Winters: Wray Andrew –
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wray (Snoz) Winters on October 26, 2020 at the age of 84. He passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus with his family by his side.
Born in 1935 in Chatham, Wray was the son of the late Earl and Ruth (Kimmerly) Winters.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Dora Winters (nee Smith).
Loving father to Lawrence (Doris) Winters, Denise Winters, Dean (Wilma) Winters and the late Joanne Gagner (2014).
Grandfather to Cassidy (Connor), Devin, and Tori. Great grandfather to Cecily and Cayda.
Brother to Jim (Jan) Winters and predeceased by Ralph, Hilton, Margaret, Dorothy, and Mardy.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and a « drive-through » Celebration of Life for Snoz will take place through the family yard, 19050 Hill Road in Morpeth, passing by his favourite « Barley Bush » on Sunday November 1, 2020 between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
Donations made in memory of Wray to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 243 would be appreciated.
