Phyllis passed away on September 7, 2020 at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Laroque (Don); her sons Charles Smith (Kathy), Patrick Smith, and David Smith; her grandchildren Jennifer Pohl, Chris Laroque, Stephanie Laroque, Monique St. John, and AndrewSt. John; great-grandchildren Perston & Christian Pohl, Nevaeh, Laureni, & Jayde Laroque, Jordan Laroque, and Macgregor Clements; as well as by her siblings Elsie Mae Lick and John David Davidson.
Phyllis had an adventurous spirit, she had great love of travel and camping, and was a member of ANAF (Army Navy & Air Force) in Kelowna. She also loved singing and was an avid reader. Family was an important part of Phyllis’ life, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Hosting family gatherings, always brought great joy. Always ready with a boardgame or a deck of cards, she was an excellent Scrabble player and Texas Hold ’em player. Her family is grateful to have had such good moments with her.
