The family of Shirley Woodman is saddened to announce her passing.
Shirley was born March 10, 1943 in Ethelbert, Manitoba to John and Francis Caruk (nee Kulchycki) and passed away in Winnipeg, MB on October 27, 2020 at the age of 77 years.
Shirley married Harry Emery Woodman on June 29, 1963 in Toronto, Ontario. In 1972 they moved to Roblin, Manitoba where they raised their three children on the family farm. Shirley was proud of her family, her farm, loved her gardening and flowers and was active in the Roblin community by driving handi-van for many years.
Shirley is survived by her children, Devon, Gregory (Jeanette), and Cory, as well as grandchildren, Robin, August, Morgan and Ava. Shirley is survived by her brother, Nelson (Junie) and sisters, Grace, Lynda (Walter), Margaret, and Elizabeth, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, her husband Harry, and youngest brother, Walter.
As per her wishes, Shirley has been cremated and a private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s memory can be made to the Manitoba-Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada or charity of your choosing.
