Shi Jie Liu
1933-2020
Shijie Liu passed away peacefully in his sleep on October
26, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, in his 88th
year.
Beloved husband to the late Yunxia Zhou. Loving father of
Qingwei (Zhuhui Zhang) of Wuhan, China P.R. and Qingwen (Fang Cheng)
of Fredericton, NB. Cherished grandfather of Tianyu, Anne and Emily.
Dear brother of Lihua (Shuncai Zhang), Baihua (Xuxian Hu),
Shaohua (Pengxing Luo) the late Lihe (Cuizhen Han) and Huijuan (the
late Xueyuan Yang). Also fondly remembered by many nieces
and nephews and their families.
Born on November 14, 1933, Shijie was the elder son of the
late Ziliang Liu and Jiqing Shen. He started his career in Wuhan
Construction and Engineering Bureau and retired as the director of
Qinshan Condiment Factory, where he was well-known and
admired.
Shijie loved Chinese Calligraphy and Painting. He kept
practicing and improving the art of calligraphy until his passing. He
was considered as a master of seal script.
Shijie came to Canada in 2013. He enjoyed his peaceful
retirement life in this beautiful country and loved participating in
community activities, hiking and travelling across the
country.
He will be missed by family and numerous
friends.
我们慈祥的父亲，已故周云霞女士的丈夫刘士杰先生。于2020年10月26日在加拿大新不伦瑞克省福莱医院安详离世。享年88岁。
刘士杰先生于1933年11月14日出生。他是已故刘子良先生和已故谌吉卿女士的长子。
刘士杰先生生前曾工作于武汉建工局等单位，从青山酱品厂退休。作为工厂的厂长他广受他的员工的尊敬和爱戴。
刘士杰先生喜爱中国古典书法和花卉绘画。擅长篆书。其大篆作品深受友人喜爱。同时他对金石艺术也有独到的见解。
刘士杰先生有两个儿子。他们都有自己的家庭。儿子刘庆伟和妻子张竹慧生活在中国武汉。儿子刘庆文和妻子程芳。生活在NB省福莱。
他有三个孙子女。刘天宇生活在多伦多。安安和康康生活在福莱。
他的妹妹刘丽华女士与丈夫张顺才先生。妹妹刘柏华女士与丈夫胡绪贤先生。妹妹刘少华女士与丈夫罗鹏星先生目前都生活在武汉。
已故的刘礼和先生是他的弟弟，生前与妻子韩翠珍女士生活在上海。已故的刘惠娟女士是他的妹妹，生前与已故丈夫杨学元先生生活在武汉。
他移居加拿大福莱后。醉心于美丽的自然风景。喜欢在原野徒步。他经常参加社区和教会组织的公益活动，宣扬善念，帮助他人。
由于新冠疫情的影响。刘士杰的葬礼很多亲朋好友都不能参加。如果您愿意，作为鲜花的代用品，你可以向教堂或者红十字会捐献。
