Obituary
Flannery, Sheila – Passed away suddenly but peacefully at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Monday November 9th 2020 at the age of 82.
Sheila was predeceased by her parents Bill and Mertis Flannery. She will be sadly missed by several cousins in the Donnelly and Flannery family along with the many friends she made throughout her lifetime. She will be greatly missed by her precious fur baby Suzie.
Sheila started her teaching career at Marymount High School in Sudbury, Ontario many years ago before relocating to North Bay. She taught at Widdifield Secondary School for many many years until her retirement. Teaching was her passion. Aside from teaching, Sheila enjoyed going to Church. She was a devoted Catholic.
Family receiving friends at St Peter the Apostle Church, 299 Airport Rd. on Saturday November 14th 2020 at 10 am for a funeral mass. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St Peter Needy Fund or the Building Fund in memory of Sheila will be gratefully acknowledged.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the North Bay Regional Health Centre and Health Sciences North for their care and compassion given to Sheila during her stay.
In accordance with current directives from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario in regard to COVID 19 the total number of attendees is limited and additional precautions are in place.
