Shediac – Corinne LeBlanc, 85, passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence on
Sunday, December 6th, 2020.
Born in Saint-Philippe, NB, and former Waltham, Mass resident, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and the late Eveline (née: Gallant) Caissie.
Corinne’s warmth and kindness cannot be put into words but will always be remembered by those blessed to know her. Her memory will be cherished by her loving family; her husband of 67 years, Arthur LeBlanc; her children: Donald LeBlanc, Norman LeBlanc and his wife, Kathie, Paul LeBlanc, Aline Curran and her husband, Thomas, and Phyllis Clarke and her husband, William; her grandchildren: Danielle, Nicole, Lauren, Cara, Ashley, Kyle and Evan; her great grandchildren: Arianna, Emma, Will, Drew, Zoey, and Jack; as well as several siblings, nieces and nephews.
It didn’t take long after meeting Corinne to know she was a kind and caring person who was beautiful both inside and out. She loved music, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She cherished each and every beautiful sunset on Cap Bimet.
Corinne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved with her heart and soul and was very religious. It was not uncommon to find her with her rosary in hand praying for family and friends. We suspect she will not have to wait at the pearly gate and may have her own key. We know she will continue to watch over us and will be greatly missed.
Corinne’s family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Villa Providence in Shediac for the excellent care and compassion given to our mother and entire family. It takes special people to devote their lives to caring for the elderly.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will hold a mass and private celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Villa Providence recreation center, 403 rue Main Street, Shediac, N.-B., E4P 2B9.
