It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sarah on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Edward Wolkove and the late Gilbert Lieberman. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Marc and Jill, Shelley and Stephen Astrof, Hal and Lois, and Shane. Adoring Bubbie of Daniel and Anne- Laure, Laurie and Robert, Erin and Byron, Jarrett, Mathew, Cody, and Kelsey. Proud Bubbie Bubbie of 8 great grandchildren. Sarah will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Although the last few years had been a challenge for her, she always had a smile on her face and a softness in her heart. We remember her devotion to her family and friends, her kindness and good nature. Special thanks to the third floor staff at the Donald Berman Maimonides Geriatric Centre for all their attentiveness and support. A very special thank you to her caregiver Charlene whose dedication and loyalty towards Sarah was so very much appreciated. A private graveside will take place.
