We regret to announce the death of Sandra Sutherland on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 50. She is survived by her husband Walter Weistche, her children: Thomas Sutherland and Chase Sutherland; her father: Bobby Sutherland, two grandchildren: Peter Jay and Teedah, as well as her siblings: Mark Williams (Sheila), Robert Dick, Kenny Dick and Roberta Dick (Ron).
She was predeceased by her mother Barbara Williams and her sister: Maggie Williams. Sandra Sutherland will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 18 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd at St. Mark’s Anglican church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Anne Stenabaugh officiating with interment following at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. ©

All persons wishing to attend the visitation or the funeral at the church must register their attendance with the funeral home, in advance. You may do so by using the online RSVP feature below, or by sending an email to staffgfh@outlook.com . Otherwise, you may call the funeral home during our regular business hours only, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The maximum number of people allowed at the St Mark’s Anglican church is 35, and no gathering is permitted outside. At the cemetery, we are limited to 25 participants. Every person present must wear a suitable mask or other appropriate face covering at all times.
Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres for people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle.
