Obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Russell Youschock on November 23, 2020 at the Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care Centre, Blairmore, AB. He was the remarkable age of 100 years.
Russell was born in Athabasca, AB on May 25, 1920 and had the pleasure of being brought up with five brothers and two sisters by loving parents, Christine (Née; Horoscak) and John Youschock. He moved to the Crowsnest Pass, AB as a child and completed his grade eight education there.
Russell led a quiet life as a bachelor, worked in the coalmine in Coleman, and was also a trapper. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading, but most of all he cherished time spent with his great nieces, Cindy Thody and Tracy (Dave) Marshall and their children. Russell’s was a life well lived and he will be remembered with love and respect.
In order to honor Russell’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Crowsnest Pass Health Foundation “Continuing Care” (PO Box 455, Blairmore, AB T0K 0E0). Condolences may be registered at www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.
