close friend William Brown. He is survived by his loving wife of 54
years Jane (Graham) Davison; daughters Carolyn (Al Dubé),

Ross returned to his hometown of Kensington where he carried out his
family practice career for 34 years. He served as coroner for Prince

Hospital where he served on a number of boards and committees. He also
served as a member of the board of the College of Family Physicians of
Canada. He was a long-time member of the United Church of Canada where
he had served as an elder. In his leisure time, he enjoyed spending
time with family, long-distance swimming on the north shore,
beachcombing, photography, playing the piano and organ, and holding
people captive with his many stories. He will be remembered fondly by
his grandchildren for his love of chocolate cake, milkshakes,
genealogy lessons, and hosting an annual summer family reunion at his
beloved cottage « The Cove ».
A service to honour his life will be held at Bedford
United Church on October 15 at 11:00 a.m. This service is
open to the public, noting that COVID 19 protocols Of Nova Scotia will
