It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Ronald Myron ‘Ron’ Hnatiw at Bethany Care Centre, Sylvan Lake, Alberta on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the age of 83 years. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of fifty-eight years, Esther Hnatiw; his daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Thomas and granddaughter, Lakoda Thomas of Sylvan Lake, Alberta; his sons, Robert (Alanna) Hnatiw and grandsons, Carter and Walker Hnatiw of Sturgeon County, Alberta, Kenneth Hnatiw of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Timothy Hnatiw of Carvel, Alberta. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Ted (Julie) Hnatiw of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Ron was predeceased by his parents, John and Annie Hnatiw; a sister, Phyllis; his brothers, Steve, Alex and Nick Hnatiw and a grandson, Quintin Thomas. A Private Family Interment will take place at Sylvan Lake Cemetery, Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Memorial Donations in Ron’s honor may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at www.heartandstroke.ca.
