Roland’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Park announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; his brothers: Edward (Sadie) of Frederickton NL, and Kevin (Maureen) of Kitchener ON; his sister in law Helen of Gillams, Dale (Nora), Inez (Dwight), Lorna; and a large circle of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A special mention to Rev. Eddy House for his Monday visits. A special thank you to Country Haven Funeral Home as well for their care and professionalism during our time of need. Roland was predeceased by his wife Sylvia, and companion Darlene; his parents: Isaac and Melinda; his brothers: Eli, Joe, Edgar, and Terry; his sister Joan; his son Glendon; and his grandson Colin. Due to the Covid-19 health restrictions, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. A private family viewing will take place and interment will follow at the Cox’s Cove Emanuel Pentecostal Church Cemetery with Pastor Canning officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Emanuel Pentecostal Church, Cox’s Cove, and/or the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Corner Brook Long Term Care for their care and compassion.
