Trudel, Robert Lorenzo (1943 – 2020)
The Trudel family announces with great sorrow the death of Robert, age 77, at the West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Fall, on Sunday December 20, 2020. Dear son of the late Georges Trudel and the late Rita (née Michaud) Trudel. Beloved husband of Marian (née Harwood) Trudel. He will be greatly missed by his much loved son Martin Trudel (Tina Louise) of Sudbury, His stepdaughter Cathy and stepson Mason, and his stepson Barry and step-granddaughter Ashley and step-great-granddaughter Destiny. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Richard (Pauline), Jean-Claude (Noella), Lucien (Denise), Marielle (Ronald Briere), Marie (Barry Kirwan), Gabriel, and Marc (Diane), as well as many nieces and nephews, friends, and his much-loved dog Max. Robert had a great love for cooking and hosted the family Christmas dinner over the last several years. He was in the military in his younger days and a proud member of the Legion, where he attended regularly. He also loved country music and football, and meeting his friends for coffee at Tim’s. Many thanks to the personnel at the hospital for their patience and dedicated care during his long stay there. Cremation arrangements in care of the Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home. As per Robert’s wishes , no funeral will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. The family requests that any donations made in Robert’s name be made to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation.
