It is with heavy hearts on Dec. 5, 2020 we announce the passing of our father 98 year old Robert Leslie ‘Jack’ Crump, beloved husband of the late Evelyn Tyrer Crump, father of Wendy Jannison (Lewis), Dwight Crump, grandfather of Lori Hodges ( ), Kristen Niemimaa (Ken), and Christine Leduc (Jay), great grandfather of Robbie, Amanda (Mathew), Annaliisa and Kaarina, Charles and Ivan and great great grandfather of Bella. Son of the late Robert M. Crump and the late Elizabeth Crump, brother to the late Jessie Rohr (Harry), the late Geraldine Bird (Jim), the late William Crump (Ruth) and the late Helen Wilkinson (Jack), brother in law to the late May Norton (William), the late Walter Tyrer (Elsie), the late Tom Tyrer, the late Jerome ‘John’ Tyrer (Mildred), the late William ‘Bill’ Tyrer and the late Lawrence ‘Larry’ Tyrer (Wilma).
We would like to thank the staffs of Brant 730, VON and Salvation Army day programs, the CCAC, PSW`s from St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Drs. Jim Spring, Chiler Ataner, Elizabeth Storjohann, Stephen Maltais, Steven Cusimano, Joginder Khera and Callin Campbell, ALL of the Administrative staff, workers within EVERY department and volunteers in Macassa Lodge, both retired and present and workers of the outside agencies providing assistance with mobility devices like wheelchairs, the X ray technicians and all of the fabulous entertainers who have made their way into D wing and the auditorium, who have given and shown us lots of care, support, compassion and their great sense of humour!
We would also like to thank the hundreds of residents, their family members, our friends and relatives for always being there. Once again their care, support, compassion and a great sense of humour has been priceless and very much appreciated! One last huge shout out to THANK Mike Deane ‘Cousin Mikey’, who came up with me to Macassa almost everyday for 9 years!
Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King Street East on Wednesday, December 9th from 11-1pm.
