Robert Griffiths
1964 – 2020
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Robert Griffiths announce his passing at the Bow Island Health Centre on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at the age of 56 years. Robert was born on July 11, 1964, in Lethbridge. He was raised in Aden, Alberta, and received most of his schooling in Foremost. Robert worked at many different occupations throughout his life including a logging truck driver, farm hand, custom harvester and also worked for a period of time with the Village of Foremost. He had many interests and hobbies, some of which included restoring old cars, site seeing, collecting old coins and buying raffle tickets. Robert leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Dora Buckley (Rob); step-children, Megan Douglas (Kurtis), Kaitlyn Douglas (Tyson), Chris Ives, Daniel Barrows and Dean Bannick and his grandchildren, Califf Buckley, Kyley (step-daughter to Dora) and Parker (daughter to Megan and Kurtis). He is also survived by his mother, Ruth Prentice; brother, Colin Kunzli; sister, Sarah Kunzli as well as his special companion, Kami Douglas. Rob was predeceased by his father, George Griffiths. A private graveside service honouring Rob’s life will be held at a future date.
