WILSON, Robert “Bob”
Robert Wilson, beloved husband of Nancy and father to Michael and Mary, grandfather to Connor, Amelia, Callum and Eleanor went to his heavenly home on November 11, 2020. Bob was born on June 6, 1931 in Port Dover, Ontario. He grew up in Toronto and graduated from Trinity College at the University of Toronto and OISIE for his Master’s Degree in counselling. Bob taught and counselled in Toronto and Saskatoon schools. He established the first work study/experience program in Saskatoon. Bob was an active Air Force Reservist, started the 737 Communications Squadron, took part in many theatre productions, made several movies and commercials, was active in the gun clubs and enjoyed hunting. Later, he volunteered at the WDM in the blacksmith shop. Bob was an active member of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church and loved singing in the choir. Our thanks to Dr. Paul Taillon and Dr. Boechler who cared for Bob during his illness, and to the wonderful, dedicated, skillful and loving staff of Stensrud Lodge and to his Church family who continued to care and pray for him.
