ROBERT “BOB” CRUICKSHANK
It is with great sadness the family share news of the passing of Robert “Bob” Cruickshank, long-time resident of Belleville. Bob entered into rest with his loving wife by his side at Hastings Manor Long Term Care Facility, Belleville on Monday, May 11th, 2020. Robert “Bob” Cruickshank of Belleville died at the age of 79. He was the son of the late George & Peggy Cruickshank (nee Wright) and cherished husband for 56 years to Gail (nee Greatrix). Proud and loving father of Karen Fox (Chris) of Frankford, Ontario, Kevin Cruickshank (Janice) of Cloyne, Ontario and Brad Cruickshank (Michele) of Vancouver, British Columbia. He is lovingly remembered by grandchildren Brittani Fox, Megan Cruickshank, CJ Fox, William Cruickshank and Ryan Cruickshank. Predeceased by sister Loraine Fleming.
Bob filled his time with many hobbies including golf and woodworking; and was actively involved with the construction crew of the Belleville Theatre Guild. Bob was a life-time member and Past-Master of Belleville Masonic Lodge.
Cremation has taken place under the care of the Belleville Funeral Home & Chapel, 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080). A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at a later date.
