Rita Johnson
1935 ~ 2020
Shediac, NB – Rita Johnson, 84, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Friday, June 26th, 2020.
Born in Rogersville, NB, she was the daughter of the late François and the late Lina Johnson (born Aucoin).
Rita will be dearly missed by her son, Pierre Comeau of Candiac, Qc; her daughter, Julie Johnson (Sarah) of Sherbrooke, Qc; two brothers, Alphonse Johnson (Emerise) of Shediac and Lionel Johnson (late Demerise) of Scoudouc; one sister, Bertha Léger (late Marc) of Shediac; one step-brother, Luc of Shediac Bridge; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Andréa and baby Germaine, also by her brother Alphonse, who passed at a very young age.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, 50 peoples will be able to attend the ceremony. Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Friday, july 3rd, 2020, from 9am until time of the Celebration of her life at 11am.
A donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
