Reuben’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Reuben Joseph Bennett announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility, in Corner Brook, NL, on Monday, July 27th, 2020 at the age of 82 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Kathleen of 53 years, his children; Ernest Payne (Nancy Ellsworth), Anetta Young, Paulette Hutchings (Ray Quenville), Pansy Caines, Johnny (Vicki) Bennett, and Myrna (Harvey) Samson, his grandchildren; Forward Payne, Darren Payne, Kathy Rose Parker, Michelle (Corey), Leslie (Shawn), Myrna Payne (Alain), Tony (Mandy) Young, Shanna Payne, Shane Hutchings, Sheena Hutchings, Crystal Bennett (Darren Welsh), April Bennett (Terrance Byrne), Josie Bennett (Nathan Sontag), Joshua Bennett, Joey Bennett, and Evan Samson, his great grandchildren; Jacob, Allison, Kaitlin, Jude, Teagen, Jacob, Emily, Noah, Everlee, Anna, Brooklyn, Avery, Jacob, Joseph, kyla, Cody, Madison, Brayden, Hennessy, Lincoln, Avery, and Alexander, his sister; Margaret Willette, his special sister; Mona Payne, his sister-in-law; Annie Bennett. Reuben was predeceased by his parents; Goldie and John Bennett, his brother; Edmund Bennett, his sister; Mildred Bennett (Frederick), son-in-law; Wayne Caines, and brother-in-laws; Samuel Willette. and Henry Payne. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
Due to the current Covid-19 Restrictions, a private family service will be held at Parsons Funeral Home Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Thursday, July 30th, 2020, at 2:00 pm with Father Gabriel officiating, with the burial to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Paul’s, NL.
