HARRIS, Raymond “Glen” – Passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 in his 84th year. Lovingly remembered by his “first mate”, Lilly Maille. Cherished father of Micheal Harris (Linda Harris), Shelley Harris, Patricia Harris, and Christine Billinger (Tristan Billinger). Dear grandfather of Angela Johnson, Amber Jury, Reilly Harris-Filipovic, James Billinger, and Ava Billinger and great-grandfather of Nathan Alfred and Ryan Alfred. Survived by his sister Faye Milburn (William Milburn) and sister-in-law Lois Harris. Predeceased by brothers Roger Harris and Daniel Harris, and sister Helen Reekie (Wally Reekie). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews: Geoffry Reekie, Christine Reekie, Vincent Reekie, Barb Milburn-Clark, Robert Milburn, Valerie DeMarco, Todd Harris, Morgan Harris, Jason Harris, Matt Harris and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Glen loved the Parry Sound area and would bring his family and friends together to spend time enjoying his cottage on the beautiful Georgian Bay. He had a passion for the water and for fishing and spent many hours teaching his children and grandchildren to fish, to boat, to explore and to appreciate the nature that was “The Bay”. His friends and family will remember hot summer days on the dock where Glen would share with us his colourful life stories – always embellished for comedic effect. He will be dearly missed by his friends and acquaintances in Mount Forest as Glen often spoke of their regular meet-ups at the local “The Spot Restaurant”. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Glen had a special fondness for all “critters” great and small and leaves behind his own beloved canine companion Tango.
