Obituary of Ralph Thomas Watson
It is with great sadness that the family of Ralph announces his passing on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the age of 80. Predeceased by his parents John “Jack” and Effie (nee Gyde) Watson. Beloved brother of the late Jim (Jean), late Jack (Margaret “Caroleen”), late Bill (Donelda), Frank (Linda), Don (Diane), Ron (Sandra), and Ken (Bonnie). Fondly remembered uncle of Toni, James, Brian, Steven, the late Glenn, Scott, Shawn, Bill, Dan, Derek, Tammy-Jo, Kim, Alyson, late Jason, Erin, Mike, Heather and Chris. He will be sadly missed by many great-nephews and great-nieces. Ralph especially enjoyed the visits of Sarah, Ella, Abby and Jack.
Sadly, due to the limitations of the Pandemic, no visitation or funeral will be held at this time. Memorial donations to the F.J. Davey Home Foundation or the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by our family.
Our family extends heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses, care staff and Activities staff on Cedar Grove 2 at the F.J. Davey Home, for the consistently kind and compassionate care that enhanced Ralph’s life over the last three years. Many thanks to the doctors and staff on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital, for their excellent care during Ralph’s illness and the very compassionate palliative care during our Ralph’s last few days.
