Mr. Ralph Phillips
Ralph Daniel Phillips, age 94 died peacefully on Wednesday October 14th, 2020 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Cherished son of the late John and Helen Phillips. Husband of the former Dorothy Weib. Ralph was employed at Rockwell International from 1947 and retired in 1992. He was very well known and respected by all family, friends, and coworkers. He served overseas during the Second World War in the Es-Kent Scottish Regiment. A member of the St. Andrews United Church and a member of Branch 628/642 Royal Canadian Legion. Surviving besides his wife is a daughter Deborah Gayle, son Bradley Michael of Chatham, Ontario, Shelley Louise of London, Ontario; half brother Tom Frazee of Tilbury and nieces and nephews Jim, Linda, Christine, and Anne. Proud grandpa of Paul Wilson and Angela Phillips also, proud great grandpa of Sarah and Daymond Phillips. Predeceased by his siblings Allen and James Phillips and Evelyn Gagnier, and his nephew Doug Phillips. A private family funeral service will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. West, Chatham, (519) 352-2710 with Pastor Greg Simpson of St. Andrew’s United Church officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to please consider the Alzheimer’s Society.
