Obituary
GRAVELLE (nee Gauthier), Priscille – It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Priscille at the age of 83 years. Priscille was born on October 31, 1936 in Corbeil to Emerile and Florida (nee Houle) Gauthier. She is predeceased by eleven siblings; Omer, Leliane, Herve, Marie Ann, Simone, Aurele, Elzire, Janine, Orval, Donald, and Ronald and survived by one sister, Shawna.
Priscille was married to Ron Gravelle (deceased), a well-known business owner in North Bay. Prior to their marriage she worked as a receptionist in the insurance business. After raising her three boys; Denis (Karima), Gilles (Laurie), and Claude, she worked at Gravelle Meat Market with her husband Ron; her mother-in-law, Rosa; her father in-law, George; her brother-laws; Aime (deceased) and Reg (deceased) and sister-in-laws; Vicky, Noella and Giselle Vrebosch. There were many fond memories made at the market. She will be missed by many in-laws; Eddie Gravelle (Geraldine), Alice Dupuis, Vicky Gravelle, Noelle Gravelle, Jean Paul Gravelle (Diane), Gisele Vrebosch (Bill), Colette Mantha (Marc), Monique Guillemette (Adellard), Noella Gauthier.
Priscille treasured her grandchildren, which was obvious in the findings at her home after her passing; books and files of cards and drawings from the grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by all nine of them; Ashley (Bryan), Kayley (Steve), Christopher (Sarah), Darren, Nathan (Jacob), Ryan (Ashley), Zoey, Jacob and Amina Inaara; and her seven great-grandchildren; Owen, Madison, Grayson, Kaycee, Abby, Ella and Salem. She was predeceased by two beautiful daughter-in-laws; Sandi and Selma.
Memere was never the same without Pepere and we know that he welcomed her into heaven with open arms. He likely asked, “What took you so long?” followed by, “Let’s have a shot of rum”.
