It is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of my beloved dad, Peter Andrishak of Elk Point on December 12, 2020 at the age of 96 years. He will be forever remembered and loved by his loving daughter, Patricia; brother-in-law, Dan (Janet) Kobylnyk of Vegreville; sister-in-law, Lassie (Roland) Ewaniuk of San Francisco; & numerous nieces & nephews. Peter was predeceased by his wife, Joanne on December 22, 1991; parents, William & Mary Andrishak; brothers, Mike (Mary), Fred (Velma) & Steve (Doris); sisters, Anna (Steve) Lazoruk; Olga (Max) Fischer & Jean Provenzano; brother & sister-in-law, Paul & Mary Ruzycki. Dad was born in Warspite, Alberta on October 25, 1924 and spent the last 90 years around Elk Point. After completing high school, Dad went onto Vermilion College where he took a 2-year agriculture course. He farmed just East of Elk Point where he raised hundreds of cattle during the next half-century. In 1994 he decided to retire in the town of Elk Point. He then started traveling and toured Ukraine, England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Panama, New York City, California, Bahamas, Hawaii (twice) & Mexico (twice). He was an avid gardener and took pride in having a nice yard. He was able to live in his own house until two months ago when he went to the hospital. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Elk Point East Cemetery, Elk Point. He will be laid to rest next to my mom, Joanne in Elk Point East Cemetery. Dad, you will be so very missed; just keep growing your beautiful roses and flowers in heaven. Until we meet again. Love you.
