Percy was born to William and Florence Williams in Newport, Wales on July 29, 1924. He came to Canada with his family when he was three years old.
Percy started working out at 13 years of age. In later years he worked in several community pastures. His dad died in 1954, so Percy took over the farm. Horses were a big part of his life and he drove chariots at the rodeos and did a great deal of veterinary work for his neighbours as well as at the pastures.
In 1981, Percy married Joanne Watt and they eventually moved to an acreage on the outskirts of Pleasantdale where they spent many happy years. Joanne passed away in 2007. Percy had spent the last few years in Parkland Place in Melfort.
Percy was predeceased by his wife Joanne; his parents William and Florence; and his nine siblings.
Percy is survived by his step-children and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Private Family Service will take place at a later date.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Pleasantdale Cemetery Church.
