Paul Joseph O’Leary passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care, at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Joan (Donald) Higgins, Paul (Daphne) O’Leary, Helen O’Leary, Irene Thistle, Sean (Helen) O’Leary, Christine (Terry) Wareham, Robert (Patricia) O’Leary, and Theresa O’Leary; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister: Theresa McCullough and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Frances in 2008, son in-law Neil in 2018, parents: James and Margaret O’Leary, siblings: William, Gerard, Bertha, Catherine, Marie and Joan. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday, March 13th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 2 p.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father James officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation 1037 Topsail Road Mount Pearl, NL A1N 5E9.
